iMovie ’09
iMovie is the free video editing software that comes with all new Apple computers. iMovie '08 was not considered one of Apple's best release. iMovie '09 is the subsequent newer version with features included which were removed in iMovie '08. The new features are:
• Precision Editor helps in exact iMovie editing of audio and video clips.
• Advanced drag and drop- the drag and drop tool brings up a popup menu filled with choices.
• Video Stabilization is a major, professional-level feature from Final Cut Studio.
• Video effects, themes, titles and transition -video effects like speed, reverse play, and color adjustments are all back.
• Edit to music-intended to assist at editing to music or making a music video
iMovie supports multiple video formats and allows you to create projects that are tailored to your specific video format. The following imovie formats can be used:
• DV
• DV Widescreen
• HDV 1080i
• HDV 720p
• MPEG 4 Simple Profile
• iSight
